About Suman

Hello, I'm Suman.

Mental Health & Emotional Resilience Counsellor. Mindfulness & Wellness Coach. Here to listen — not to label, rush or advise you into a corner.

Suman Sinha, Mental Health & Emotional Resilience Counsellor

Sometimes people don't need advice first. They need someone who will listen.

I believe that the most important thing a counsellor can offer isn't a technique, a framework or a clever insight — it's a steady, confidential space where you can talk openly about what's really going on. Without being judged, labelled or rushed toward a solution that doesn't fit your life.

My role isn't to tell you how you should live. It's to help you understand what you're going through, explore what may be keeping you stuck, and discover practical ways to move forward — at your own pace.

I work with adults, working professionals and people navigating relationship concerns. My approach blends evidence-informed counselling with practical psychological tools, mindfulness, breathing practices, emotional awareness and mind-body techniques — chosen for what fits your needs, not what's fashionable.

Whether you've been carrying something quietly for a while, or you've reached a point where you just want to talk to someone — you're welcome here.

My approach is simple:
Listen → Understand → Reflect → Practise → Move Forward
What Counselling Looks Like With Me

What you can expect from a conversation with me.

Every session is shaped around you. Here are the qualities I bring to every conversation, regardless of what's brought you here.

1

Listen first

You set the pace. I listen before I respond. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is judged.

2

Understand together

We look at what's happening — thoughts, feelings, relationships, patterns — without jumping to conclusions or labels.

3

Practical tools

Where it helps, we use psychological tools, mindfulness, breathwork and body-awareness — chosen for your situation.

4

Beyond the session

The aim is for you to feel more equipped to handle life between sessions — not only during them.

Background

How I got here.

My counselling work sits at the intersection of formal training, lived corporate experience and years of personal practice.

My practice is grounded in a multidisciplinary background that spans counselling, psychology, mindfulness, yoga and more than 15 years of corporate and HR experience. I've worked with adults and professionals through some of the most demanding chapters of their careers and lives.

  • Counselling & psychology training
  • Mindfulness & meditation practice
  • Yoga & breathwork
  • 15+ years in corporate & HR roles
  • Emotional resilience coaching
  • Stress & burnout support work
  • Mind–body integration techniques
  • Continuing professional development

I draw on each of these depending on what feels right for the person in front of me. There is no single school of thought I follow rigidly — only what's helpful, practical and honest.

"You don't have to have the right words. You don't need a diagnosis. You don't even have to know exactly what is wrong. If something is troubling you, that's enough reason to talk."
